THE ART OF MORIHIRO HOSOKAWA
Morihiro Hosokawa: Sake Vessels and Flower Vases
SAKE VESSEL & FLOWER VASE

Dates: Saturday 31 October – Tuesday 3 November (public holiday) 2026
Hours: 10:00–17:00
Venue: ORIENTAL FINE ARTS YANAGI (in the gallery)

Since retiring from the front line of politics, Mr Hosokawa has taken up ceramics and broadened his expression to calligraphy, painting and lacquer. This exhibition focuses on sake vessels that accompany the everyday pleasures of drinking, and on flower vases that welcome the flowers of each season.
We invite you to view these vessels, which combine the strength of the clay with a pared-back stillness.

We look forward very much to welcoming you.
